Christopher Monckton is putting in another appearance among the Antipodeans, apparently representing himself this time, not Myanmar, as he did at Doha. His arrival in on the back of triumph in New York, where allegedly he trounced an unnamed professorial proponent of Climate Change.

The grass is growing ridiculously high in the back yard, and that includes the part I mowed. Up the back the deep green extends to the trees, making a contrast with the previous months. And now, if for a short while,the sound of running water can be heard in the creek.

The ABC program cutely observed, “Israel has unique security problems”. And then we are reassured by the pronouncement that Israel is a democracy, but that neatly overlooks that its Arab citizens are either not fully represented, they have been exiled in the manner of a diaspora, often don’t vote when citizens, and when elected never are in government.
