I will just repeat this for the record. What do you think?

Brian Friesen, via Facebook:

The Abbott Government finds untrammelled enthusiasm, alacrity and “hang the cost” to join the coalition of the killing  in the sky over Iraq in stark contrast with a stubborn disinclination and outright refusal to assist with the humanitarian crisis caused by the ebola epidemic in West Africa. Tony Abbott may like running up the cab charge making the rounds visiting the important places. As long as he does not visit any wineries he should be fine. Interesting to reflect in an age of supposed traitors and a fugitive (but not from justice) that on this day 478 years ago another alleged traitor, Thomas More, was beheaded. All martyrs, despite their differences have some similarities

Not that I know much, if anything about economics, but it seems to me that there was the Thatcherite rhetoric and an underlying economic problem of stagflation that was not supposed to happen and the recipe was monetarism(1).
