FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG – WALK ON BY

While not in the least our doing we had an eventful week. We went from fire to flood. In truth it was not much of a fire, and not much of a flood, although houses were evacuated. Variety is the spice of life, or so it is said.

Mostly Sasha and Dexter and myself kept out of the way. I suppose in truth we had no choice since it was been dug up, and the machinery is used is of the type it is good idea to keep clear.

We were glad, not sad, to keep our distance and to walk on by, but Dionne Warrick had the song:

Postscript: The State Emergency Service advises that driving and walking in flood waters is a major cause of death and injury and we probably all have had the experience of doing exactly the opposite.
