FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG: MOVING ON

As the earth moves on its elliptical path around the sun, the days shorten and the evenings set in earlier are cooler.

The dogs still mostly get out, but often lately missing the optimal time for photographs. Sasha’s enthusiasm is undiminished. Dexter affects a more reserved demeanour at a the prospect of walk, but his behavior changes once the process is underway. Sasha’s face as the song says is mellow as the month of May.

One day there will be a last good bye. Time for mortals – hominids and canines – does not last forever.

Time and tide moves on, and there is a sense the carnival is over. The Seekers were singing about this some time ago and recently:
