FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG – WHAT CRISIS? October 11, 2008

The global financial crisis continued to circle around the world, but not yet reached Sasha and Dexter’s world, but perhaps it is on its way.

Our crisis is that we cannot met the midnight deadline, and so again we have crossed over into the next day. The only excuse is that the clocks were advanced by one hour last week.

What seems to be the problem?

………………………………………………………………..

Firstly, taking things far too easily might be suggested:

Dexter at ease:

The Silky Oak Robustus is flowering:

Sasha escapes to the creek:

Under closer control:

Keeping a keen look out as developments unfold:

We will follow Friday Ark, and hope to see who is on board this week.

In the face of crisis, it is useful to have a sense of hope. The problem might be that a paradigm shift has occurred and the new paradigm is not understood. We have other parts of the puzzle to solve including peace and environmental sustainability. Here is Joan Baez , via Judith at The Being Brand, at her lyrical best, “We shall Overcome”:

Lovely piece, wmmbb. Love the shots of Sasha and Dexter. I love this version of We Shall Overcome too. The song is a reminder that this too shall pass.

I agree Judith, the song seems to suit her at that time she sang it.

Thank you for commenting.

Hi Mr. wmmbb,

Thanks:) I am fine. My absence from the blogging world was the outcome of certain other events (I’ve written a post about them – and about the future POA)

The pictures are great. I think Dexter and Sasha knew that the markets would revive (as they did yesterday) and so they weren’t worried. In the long run, I guess we all are affected by whatever happens in the human world.

The silky oak looks rich. Amber complements green so well! That’s a lovely picture:)

Licks n Wags,
Oorvi

Thanks for stopping by Oorvi.

I was starting to wonder what could be happening, but then it is old story of conflicting priorities. Happens to most of us at some time.

I have some pictures for you this week of what I have taken to calling Bottle Brush Alley.

Very true what you say about what affects the human world affects everybody else.
