COAL STREAM GAS PROTEST October 21, 2012

The leaflet is still in the letterbox. The snail got to it. I confirmed with a neighbour I had the right time and date. Then off we went expecting the usual local demo involving speeches and so forth.
Nothing of the sort. We were engaged in literally a symbolic protest. With the photograph published in The Illawarra Mercury the result can be seen
So I thought I would throw some random photos from the ground-level perspective:
Most people must have been aware of what was afoot in our sit down protest. The demographic involved of those involved , which to my eyes was as close as you get to the mainstream, should concern the politicians in the NSW Government.
