FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG: THE CREEK FLOWING AGAIN August 23, 2014

There was much rain this week. As expected the creek, which has not flowed for months, flowed again. Dexter, in particular, seemed to take the opportunity this afforded.

The flow in the creek is transient. It is there for now, but perhaps will not last long. I have seen it with a greater volume. Yet, I feel a sense of exuberance that the water is coursing again.

Since I fell down the embankment I have been more cautious. This risk aversity has extended to taking the dogs out. Dexter and Hannah have not gone out at many times as usual. We got together some photos. I suppose it is still winter, so Vivaldi is appropriate:

Johnny Farnham might, but I will leave it to others to walk through the storm:

And then there are those storms that some human beings make for others – and what good do they do except create unnecessary death and suffering. Some people get this, such as those Israeli Jews and Palestinians who walk together, and who we do not hear enough about.
