We keep on going back again.  Dexter, and in particular Hannah, miss going out, when that happens. The dogs spend some time  following scents and odd and ends along the way, which is a worry. The good thing is that we get home seemingly OK.

It is not clear from these photos but predictably the trees along the way of the overhead power lines that run down to a sub station were pruned in the last weeks. We used to sit on the knoll. It occurs to me that might not be a good idea. It is difficult to assess but presumably these power lines have a significant electric and magnetic fields. So maybe it is a good idea to stop over somewhere else. This has meant a change in focus.

I have tried to stage manage he photos Much to my surprise Dexter and Hannah, sometimes individually, sometimes together, do what I request. I notice they make the decision when it is time to move on. Sometimes spontaneity is caught. Now we share the rock, and at least today they were happy to jump up onto it, after I was done sitting there.

Life follows its’ meandering course among the familiar, despite which often unseen and undiscovered and not to be ever taken for granted, mixed with the odd reminiscence. Such turbulence of mind does not trouble the dogs, one imagines. If it does, they do not let on.
