We can be overloaded with memories. Who knows what memories Dexter and Hannah have. They have a different set of priorities than human beings.

He is not walking, but Ernie has survived his travails of last Friday. He is now in the acute age care at the local hospital. He did not take to my suggestion it was like boarding school. He said, “I am not ten years old; I am 95 years old.” At his age selective remembering and forgetting are perhaps both easy and useful. He did say a few days ago that he experienced a bad dream. He is looking good.

Human memory might be one thing, and canine memory another. Memory is a condition of consciousness and dogs are conscious. Still the photos last longer for both species.

Dexter and Hannah probably enjoyed their walks this week:

I suppose that like dogs, cats have memories:

We hope to join the photo compilations at Friday Ark again this week.

Picasa was used to arrange the photos and it makes that task quite easy.
