FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG: LET THE LIGHT IN

The light is not so much the problem, as the lack of rain. The ground is very dry and the creek is not flowing.

Metaphor is another matter. Leonard Cohen sings, “There is a crack in everything, That is how the light gets in.” So that might be hopeful.

Sometimes judgments get in the way of appreciation. For example, to mark the Festival of Sydney, a large rubber duck will float into Circular Quay.

Dexter and Hannah ventured forth again this week. Dexter has new and longer lead. So he is enjoying more freedom. Hannah is given free run of the paddock on the way home.
