FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG: CAUTIONARY TALE June 8, 2012
Posted by wmmbb in DOG BLOG -.trackback
The weather was wet and windy this week. We stayed home most days.Dexter and Hannah felt somewhat confined, but behind the clouds a significant astronomical event occurred.
I can relate a cautionary tale. As I was coming in from the washing line, Dexter ran ahead through the dog flap, as a I came through the door, my foot caught the flap and I fell forward onto the tiled floor landing on my hand, knocking my face but not breaking my glasses. The next day I went in and arranged to have my wrist x-rayed at the hospital – which I organized though my kidney specialist on Wednesday. I have not heard from my GP, so my wrist must be ok. My left hand was a bit painful and swollen for a few days, but my hand seems to have recovered, if not completely at this point. I suppose if you are aware of dangers, they can be avoided.
Otherwise the sun shone, although it was cold in the shadows. Both Dexter and especially Hannah have probably not had enough exercise this week.

It was the Sun that Venus was crossing. Here is a video of the event (Thanks Pancho):

Picasa made the organization of Dexter’s and Hannah’s photos possible.
