FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG: ANOTHER DAY April 21, 2012

The rain seems to have stuck around. If I waited long enough it would rain, and then Dexter and Hannah would be stuck at home. They accept their fate stoically as dogs do, putting their trust in their human companions.
On one hand I have a sense of fatalism, that things can change, as they have over recent years, and on the other there is a sense of taking things for granted. We still went out. Hannah is too active to pose, and it is a minor miracle if she stays still for a moment. By comparison Dexter is slowing his age, although he is still able to drag me along like a steam engine, so I have to be careful when it wet underfoot. We went up to the dam this week to get better walking conditions.
John Broomhall sang at the finale of the Illawarra Folk Festival this year:
……………………
Phil Collins’ song provides a ironic touch, as I find blood on the floor to discover a leach has latched onto me, not the dogs.
…………………………
We will be on the lookout this week for Friday Ark at Modulator.

Picasa was used to arrange the photos.
