Wade Davis who is the explorer in residence at the National Geographic says in an interview that it all comes down to two words: Climate Change.
That’s Western Civilization for you. And now it might be the headlong rush to war in the Middle East that on its most noble interpretation is protecting oil supplies, although there are reports that the plan is to fuel the American war machine with non-fossil fuels.
In this interview Wade Davis discusses his book and his Massey Lectures entitled, The Wayfarers (via War In Context):
Last October he was at the Melbourne Writers Festival and was recorded in an interview with the ABC.
