FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG: WINTER WALKING June 25, 2011

The shortest day is now behind us, the solstice, so we have to accept that winter is upon us.
As I have had cause to observe before, Sasha and Dexter are not inclined to co-operate in posing for photos. So it is mostly a matter of luck – or lack of it. For example, Dexter jumped up on the rock on his own accord. I told him to stay there. He didn’t look all that happy. Similarly, Sasha has her own mind. I tried to take her photo of her jumping over the log, but on this occasion she decided to go under it. So it goes.

Dexter has not been smiling much lately. Maybe it has a shadow, as suggested by his namesake:

“Time like the wind goes a hurrying by”. Somebody said to me time is short. I don’t get the urgency. But here is the song sung by John Rowles:

Again this week, midnight has come and gone, but hopefully we might still catch Friday Ark on the way through.

As always acknowledgement to Picasa for enabling the photos in the computer process.
