There is nothing in the Wikileaks documents! There was that instance twenty years ago when the American Ambassador seemed to be giving a green light for the invasion of Kuwait. And then, the torture (and illegal?) incarceration of the army soldier in the marine prison as Quantico continues. No red lines there. Or perhaps not.

Australia is a major supplier of coal to China and India. According to Ian Lowe the floods drowned coal mines in Queensland interrupting the profitable trade, yet the floods themselves are consistent with the warming made of increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. La Nina has not disappointed.

We are told by the Murdoch press on Sunday that the current NSW Government is finished. Most people knew that, so it is not news. The suggestion is that if the Galaxy poll was replicated in voting in the March election, the ALP would get 13 seats in the Legislative Council.

The upheaval and overturning of a tyranny in Tunisia has proven to be a political earthquake that has changed the political landscape in that country while sending shock waves across the Arab World. The fact that Tunisia is not an oil states helps.

There has been widespread flooding of both sides of the Australian continent. The weather systems that created floods in the Gascoyne region of WA and in SE Queensland and Northern NSW were probably produced by different systems.
