I always thought that the John Lennon song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” was a reference to LSD, but not the currency.
So I was interested to learn the true story, which otherwise I would have missed, from ABC email news. The Mail Online has the photos of Lucy Vodden, nee O’Donnell, who died recently of lupus,”an [incurable] autoimmune disease which causes the body to attack its own cells, causing immense pain and organ breakdown”.

Interesting story! I had no idea of the true reference.
Its seems Lucy in the Sky was a real person.
