We may not realize it but nothing stays the same. Dogs do not have to think about what it means to be a dog.

Our routine may soon be disrupted by progress and development, and in the future we can be nostaglic for the hot days of summer:

I get the impression that Sasha and Dexter think it is very neat:

A bit more background:

A  kookaburra calls for attention:

Dexter happy to move on:

Sasha on the move:

Bobby Darin wrote “A Simple Song of Freedom” in 1969, war not freedom seems to be the constant in human affairs:

It is so much easier to prevent conflict between dogs than humans, although human beings with reason claim they are superior at least in an evolutionary sense.

Again this week we will go over to Modulator’s Friday Ark and seek to board and join the crowd.

Humans…superior?!
Well…Mr. wmmbb, I am not too sure of that. In my world, we think of them as employees!

Thanks for visiting. I am sure Sasha and Dexter would love chapattis provided you don’t forget those huge lumps of white butter:) I hope that you are all safe and far away from those bush fires. I’ve been hearing about those fires…and if those rumors about it being a deliberate act are true…humans definitely can’t be more evolved than we are.

licks n wags,

Oorvi

It is all a matter of self perception, and you are doubtless about how humans take a privileged view of the themselves.

We are well away from the fires, but as you can see we live close to the bush.

I will have to keep looking out for chapattis and report back.
