Everyday might be seen as a holiday.

But this is the Christmas season, but Sasha and Dexter are not noticing much different. Cooper stayed by one night, but was gone the next morning.

Mostly it is blue skies with the odd grey skies and rain:

Occassionally there are obstacles:

All continents by definition  are reasonably big. Australia is an island and distance tends to be impressed on the traveller(a good reason to stay home). The song is by Icehouse:
