FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG – PAWS FOR THOUGHT September 6, 2008
Posted by wmmbb in DOG BLOG -.trackback
Let us be philosophically construct for a moment, the difference between “hockey mom” and a breed of dog cannot be cosmetic. The deeper question is to consider their commonality. Both are mammals, and you know where I am coming from on this, they are not for example as different as mammals from reptiles (marsupials are also mammals, I learn). Furthermore, beyond the pun, mammals and mums are related concepts.
Having got that off my chest, lets get back to less weighty matters. When I stop to meditate perhaps among the gum trees the dogs stop to do whatever they are doing. Perhaps the photos will help in that regard – or not.

Oh yeah Sash?

We again for step up to board Friday Ark and hope to join the crew and passengers before tide turns.
Perhaps neither John Lennon’s mother or his father were soccer parents, but the relationship and the pain that entailed went deeper:

I just noticed…Dexter’s ears are quite like Johnny’s:)
I’ve been tinkering about and my blog’s got a new look…I am a bit apprehensive about its appeal. Do let me know if you like it (or not.)
The weather is still hot here…usually September is nice n cool… You said that it’s already spring in Australia…will you photograph some nice Australian flowers:) (when they begin to bloom)?
Licks n Wags,
Oorvi
Oorvi,
In my opinion your blog is looking great. I don’t know how you do it. I checked out all the buttons at the top.
No problems I look around for flowers to photograph. There is usually, wattles all over the place. There are plenty of grevillias as well. So consider that done. The wattles started blooming in winter. A very good idea to check them out – always a learning experience for me.
Now I will have to check out Johnny’s ears.
Thanks again.
Thanks:)
I’ll wait for the pictures of Grevillias and Wattles:)
Wasn’t I right about the ears?
Licks n Wags,
Oorvi
Yes Oorvi, you were very perceptive about the ears – but I should have expected no less.
I just hope I can deliver on my promise – I couldn’t see any flowers today, but I will keep looking. It is spring after all.
As much as I enjoy the fall, I am a tad envious of your spring.
Spring is probably my favourite time, once it warms up a bit. I suppose it is the season of hope and renewal. Having said that I am going to have start mowing the lawn again.
Thanks again for dropping by, Colleen.
