It is all over now baby blue. Jock’s owner decided to call a stop to his participation in our jaunts out and about. I think he enjoyed it the time. I know Sasha was very tired after the walks and Dexter could not keep up with his attention.
Still we have the photos and the memories. Now we hear Jock barking constantly. I do not like to visit him, but I have gone down to his place and given him some dog biscuits, which kept him quite for a while.

Yes, and I am pretty sure that Jock is missing going out with Sasha and Dexter.
I suppose it is a dog thing, but Dexter was very tolerant with Jock’s attentions, much to my surprise.
I wish humans could understand dogs better…sometimes Mercury and Cameo too fail to understand me:(
But then it’s natural to lose track of simple things when you are entangled in the complexities of the human world. I think this is what has happened with Paula too.

You are right I believe, Oorvi.
Paula is juggling a number of sometimes competing demands, not least looking after Dakota, for example seeing her to day school during the school holidays.
Frankly, I think that Jock, although a nice dog is a handful. I would argue he needs the freedom to express himself and develop. We put some photos of Jock out with Sasha and Dexter and left our phone number. So at least Paula knows the option exists, but the best option is for her to exercise Jock.
