FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG – THE USUAL SUSPECTS (AGAIN) June 7, 2008

We stayed home most days this week – it was raining. The rain did not completely stop us. However, today, Cooper joined as part of the usual suspects with Sasha and Dexter.
Earlier in the week, Sasha became lost for over an hour on one of our outings, which meant a longer walk than planned. I never found out what happened, but I suspect she got stuck somewhere. I was watching my footing and taking it slowly. I never know the best search strategy, so I went in a large circle, including walking along the highway to exclude the worst possibility, and circled back. On the third round we met Sasha, somewhat taken aback by her experience.
Rain and camera probably do not mix, but chances were taken:
Sasha never minds getting wet, or jumping into water. Dexter has now got used to rain:
Fortunately, the rain had stopped today, and Cooper managed to get free. He enjoyed a meal next door before joining us our foot patrol.

As we have done in past weeks, we will again line up on the quarterdeck at Friday Ark and seek to board.
