FRIDAY NIGHT DOG BLOG – TASTE TO THE FORE May 24, 2008

Taste was the photo challenge topic this week. What Sasha and Dexter have chosen to eat might be mentioned in passing, but let us consider some metaphorical meaning.

For example, as I far as I can tell, Sasha and Dexter seem to be enjoying the late autumnal sun. This pleasure might be seen as an acquired taste:

The habitual thing for me is to hitch them up for a few photos at the rock outcrop. I am confident that the dogs like the high ground, or least pay a great deal of attention to what is going on around them:

Sasha seems to be flourishing now she is given time off the lead. Despite her early misadventures, which she learnt from, she has now acquired a taste for adventure as can be seen in the following sequence:

There is a certain intention:

Dexter is watching and wondering:

What is she up to?

Taste and smell are more closely aligned for dogs. It might be suggested they are more grounded:

Diversity ranges among dogs, beyond breeds. Dexter is often ready to jump on log or rock when I make the suggestion. Perhaps he has a taste for heights:

When this was going on, Sasha decided to sit it out.

We will again seek to board Friday Ark, and expect to see Chelsea and others there.

This week the video consistent with the theme is the Beatles with “A Taste of Honey”:
