Naomi Klein, speaking at the Canadian Centre for Policy Alterantives said:

I acknowledge my debt to nasking commenting at The Road to Surfdom. The moral of the story is that the power of fascism, doubly seconded with wealth and science tailored for disaster, even as we see global warming coming with manifold implications not to be underestimated.

Somewhat tangentially, just remember the beer halls, the dispirited young men filled with violence, the brown shirts and Adolf Hitler. Postscript: 20 November 2007.
